Serviform EcoGiant, our automatic bending unit for die makers, is among the most flexible machines on the market. This is not just a claim, it is a fact, confirmed by numerous operators who use the machine in over 20 countries worldwide! EcoGiant’s newly developed interchangeable bending sleeves process 2, 3 and 4 pt. steel rule from 22.5 up to 60 mm high thanks to the motorized punching station where the cartridge position automatically fits with the steel rule height used. With the changeover from one rule thickness/height to another completed within seconds, it makes the EcoGiant the most versatile auto bender available on the market.
The new generation multiple cartridges allow you for multiple operations such as cutting, lipping and notching. In the even wider special cartridge program, the EcoGiant has tailored cartridges designed to produce perf, nicks, and cut/crease rule out of standard cutting rule. Everything within one machine – that saves space either!
Furthermore EcoGiant features a double inline broaching unit for the production of high tolerance dies for the folding carton industry. Broaching reduces the make ready time in the use of the die in this segment. Indeed, thanks to the broaching, minimum radiuses are smaller and the quality level of the dies obtained is significantly increased.
The continuity of different computer operating systems grants effective time management: EcoGiant comes with the latest development of our die preparation software based upon Windows® OS. The PC is used as a mere user interface. Machine control is driven by industrial PLC.
