Japan Calling

icona-prodotto

Dear Customers, Suppliers and Partners,
Last June 12 Mauro Tomelleri, Sales and Marketing Director of Serviform, started a one-week customer trip to Japan. Together with the new distributor Nakayama Steel Rule, appointed by the end of 2016 with the aim to reinforce Serviform presence in this strategic market, they met a number of new customer prospects.

Japan has a very long and incredibly rich tradition of paper and corrugated board processing with extremely high quality standards. Nevertheless, automation is yet not very much spread in the country, as there are a great number of small and medium size die-cutters which still apply to a strictly manual production, transmitted from generation to generation.
As a matter of fact, there is a huge potential for the whole range of Serviform machines, which, learning very closely the specific local requests, are now able to offer all skills necessary to meet the high quality needs, to raise production speed and to increase the overall productivity.

We went therefore for a very competent and experience partner – Nakayama Steel Rule, placed in Osaka, featuring an 80 years experience in steel rule production with a deep knowledge of the Japanese die-making industry. Together with his sales team, Mr. Masaki Nakayama, Mr. Miyake and Mr. Fujita Mr. Tomelleri visited a number of important prospect customers to whom all the benefits of Serviform’s EcoPlus were very well explained and shown.

At the same time, in Caravaggio, within the new Serviform training facilities, two of Nakayama Steel Rule most skilled technicians – Mr. Genki Matsumoto and Mr. Alessandro Piroddi (an Italian moved to Japan!) – followed an intensive training course about all the Serviform machines which will be distributed in Japan.

To further strengthen Serviform’s presence on the Japanese market, we already planned our presence as an exhibitor, to Japan Pack 2017, which will take place in Tokyo form October 3 – 6 2017.

"Japan is surely far away, from a geographic and, even more, cultural point of view, though, we feel very close to the Japanese approach." states Mauro Tomelleri. "We as Serviform can help Japanese die-makers with our products to reach a modern automation which respects a millennial tradition of quality and precision by adding efficiency, speed and increase of productivity!"

All the best,
Team Serviform
