¡Viva México, Plecamer y Sudamérica!
Before the end of the year, could we miss one of the most amazing continents as South America? Of course not! After our Japanese adventures in October we headed to Bogotá, Colombia, where with the excellent support of our commercial partner Plecamer we participated to Andina Pack 2017.
Plecamer is a highly specialized and innovative solutions provider that covers the critical production processes in any company related to the die-cutting for graphic arts: from supplies for printing, inputs to manufacture dies, parts and spare parts for punching machines / bending machines to machinery for the production of dies.
The company has its own branches in Spain, Colombia, Mexico and a strong presence in Latin America. In this way, it offers the most innovative solutions from both sides of the world.
Plecamer, represented by Iker and Jon Lasa, began to work with us a few years ago for Mexico and in the last years they got respectable sales success. Serviform has now several machines installed there. In this newsletter in one of the pictures, taken at our headquarters in Caravaggio about 10 days ago, you can see the crates ready to be shipped to Mexico. There are two RotaNeXt and one IdeA paced in those wooden boxes!
Serviform decided to support Plecamer in their decision to enlarge their market approaching the die-making industry in different countries in South America. First step was their presence at Andina Pack.
Andina Pack is one of the most complete exhibition of the converting, processing and packaging industry in South America. The 2017 edition took place in Bogotá, Colombia from 7th to 10th November. 503 exhibitors, (+17 percent vs. 2015 edition), from 27 countries presented their products and solutions for the food and drink, pharmaceuticals and cosmetics industries. With a share of 53 percent, an increase of 32 percent in comparison to the previous edition, more companies came from abroad than ever before. About 20.000 highly profiled and international trade visitors from 30 countries profited from the unique access to solutions, market innovations and trends.
We are sure Plecamer will be able to confirm the success they had in Mexico for the conquest of new markets: c’mon Lasa brothers! We are with you.
